Delete Your Nomblr Account

Last updated: April 26, 2026

Nomblr lets you request account deletion in the app or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

What Account Deletion Means

Deleting a Nomblr account starts a 30-day deletion process. Your account is marked for deletion, you can restore it by signing in during the grace period, and after 30 days Nomblr permanently deletes or anonymizes account data from the account deletion queue.

Delete In the App

Use this path in Nomblr: Settings > Delete account / Request account deletion.

  1. Open the Nomblr app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Delete account or Request account deletion.
  4. Confirm the request when prompted.

Request Deletion Without the App

If you uninstalled Nomblr or cannot access the app, email hello@nomblr.app from the email address on your Nomblr account.

Please include:

  • Your Nomblr account email.
  • A clear statement such as: "Please delete my Nomblr account."

We may ask for additional information if needed to verify the request before acting on the account.

30-Day Process

  • When deletion is requested, the account is marked for deletion.
  • You may restore the account within 30 days by signing in before permanent deletion is processed.
  • After 30 days, Nomblr batches permanent deletion or anonymization from the account_deletion_requests queue.
  • After permanent deletion is processed, the account and deleted data cannot be restored.

Data Deleted or Anonymized

  • Supabase Auth account data tied to your Nomblr account.
  • App rows that are user-owned and cascade under the current database schema, including private visit and rating history where feasible.
  • Crew memberships, push notification tokens, moderation records filed by you, and private user content where the schema owns it by user ID.
  • Profile details, avatar selections, priorities, taste quiz responses, recommendation notes, and other private account-owned content where feasible.

Data That May Be Retained

  • Payment and subscription records handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
  • Logs, fraud-prevention records, security records, support records, or legal records where retention is required or reasonably necessary.
  • Anonymized, aggregated, or de-linked historical records if needed for crew integrity, database integrity, ON DELETE SET NULL behavior, or aggregate-table behavior under the current schema.
  • Content or records owned by other users, such as another crew member's own ratings or activity.

Subscription Cancellation

Deleting a Nomblr account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Apple and Google manage subscription billing separately.

  • On iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, then manage Nomblr.
  • On Android: open Google Play, tap your profile icon, choose Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  • You can also use Apple's billing support at support.apple.com/billing or Google Play subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
